A Sachet by Any Other Name
Because we're concerned here with rest and relaxation, this sachet is naturally, chalked full of lavender. To get started, gather lavender stems, leaves or buds (it's totally up to you), lavender essential oil, a clean handkerchief, 2 needles (1 large, 1 small), thread, and a 1/4" wide ribbon that's color works well with the handkerchief. Fold your handkerchief in half, and then fold it in half again. Sew three sides together using needle and thread. Open one side of the handkerchief and stuff it, generously, with lavender plant pieces and/or buds. Sprinkle the pieces with no more than 10 drops lavender essential oil. Thread your large needle with the 1/4" ribbon and loosely thread to keep the plant materials inside your homemade sachet. Tie the whole thing off with a knot and…viola…you're done!
